Distribution and Competition Law: Decision of the Competition Council n°101215 dated October 18, 2012, relating to the granting of discounts, rebates and rebates by large and medium-sized retailers
In the context of a self-referral, the Competition Council considered that the actions in question, which consist in particular of the granting of significant off-invoice discounts, cannot be qualified as anti-competitive practices insofar as nothing in the file does not prove the existence of a sale at a loss aimed at excluding competitors producing hygiene products from the distribution market through large and medium-sized stores.
